I got this nice NDZ magwell but the stock xmacro mag pretty much goes up INTO the magwell. Which means 1) to make sure it's seated you have to either slam it home or push it in with your thumb to make sure it caught on the mag catch and 2) you cannot strip the mag should you have issues without removing the magwell. So I remixed arck11's baseplate to be solid, he was nice enough to update the slot to fit my mag since I'm using ASA and it seems to shrink enough to make it difficult to get on.In the 3rd photo you can see some tape. White for illustration. IF you can push the baseplate off by hand the floorpate is "nosediving" into the mag. Not sure why this happens - and it may not happen to you- but the tape will fix that.I printed in ASA 100% infill 5 walls, 0.12 layer height (0.15 is fine). 0.2 is a little rough. In the orientation you see. I blocked all supports on any curcular hole including the label holes. left the supports elsewhere. I added one with an attached brim in case you print with abs/asa. You can also flip it and won't need supports but then the front gets a little ugly. Up to you. I printed it with supports so the backside gets the ugly part.I actually put 10 rounds in it and dropped it from tummy height about a dozen times. It got dented and the "lips" developed a small vertical crack but it held. You take responsibility if you want to rely on this dropping on concrete. If you print it on the bottom it will DEFINITELY not be drop-safe even when empty.
