Sig P210 inspired repeating rubber band shooter design features a disconnector providing a smooth trigger pull and reset for each shot. The shooter holds 8 size 14 rubber bands, approximately 1/16" by 2" in size. Size 16 rubber bands may also be compatible. This build requires intermediate skill due to the number of parts and hand fitting needed for optimal performance. In addition to 3D printed components, you will need: - Two springs from a ballpoint pen, each approximately 1 inch long when uncompressed - Five M3x10 pan head self-tapping screws - Cyanoacrylate glue - Post-print tools such as sandpaper and fine files Print the two main halves flat side down with full support to maintain inner cavity dimensions. Avoid running bridges without support, as it may result in sagging parts that interfere with internal components. A mouse ear is included to facilitate easy removal of a small skirt from areas prone to lifting during printing. Internal parts should be printed to minimize support material; Prusa slicer default bridging settings work well for these designs. Allowances are built into the CAD model, but some hand fitting may be necessary due to 3D printer performance variations. Glue the disconnector at both the pin and middle points, securing it with a M3 screw. The trigger should also be retained with a M3 screw. The spur and capstans should be bonded together using cyanoacrylate glue, taking care to ensure the bore remains freely moving on the spur pivot pin. The sear spring cup is glued into the left-hand clamshell to secure its position. Initial function testing involves pinching the two halves together with internal parts installed to identify any binding or interference issues. These shooters took approximately 18 hours to print, producing two platters full of parts. This toy can appear realistic from a distance, especially when printed in dark colors. Be considerate of others who may not realize it's a toy or prop.
