If you appreciate this model, kindly rate it.The P2008 is a single-engine high-wing two-seat ultralight built in Italy, targeting the US market. It's a conventionally laid-out strut-braced high-wing monoplane designed with the US market in mind. The P2008 bears a resemblance to earlier Tecnam models like the P92 and P2004, but it stands out by featuring a carbon-fiber fuselage and integrated fin. Metal is used for the wings and tailplane.The wing's leading edge is straight, except for some pinching at the root. The wing has constant chord over approximately 60% of its span, while the trailing edge tapers outward. Slightly upturned wing tips complete the design. Frise ailerons on piano hinges cover the outboard sections, and slotted flaps take care of the inner sections. A single lift strut is attached to each side, anchored to the lower fuselage. The P2008 boasts an all-moving constant-chord tailplane with an anti-balance tab. Its fin is swept, while the rudder moves above the tailplane.Powered by a Rotax 912S flat-four piston engine driving a two-blade propeller, the P2008 seats two side-by-side in the cabin, each with their own door and baggage space behind. The fixed tricycle undercarriage features spring cantilever main legs and a castoring, non-steerable nosewheel on compressed rubber suspension.
