The human form is a unique and wondrous thing, capable of incredible feats of strength, agility, and intelligence. With their advanced cognitive abilities, humans are able to create complex societies, harness the power of technology, and explore the vast expanse of space. Despite their many accomplishments, however, humans remain fragile and vulnerable to the whims of fate, subject to the cruel hand of disease, injury, and death.
