Design is intended specifically for 3M P100 particulate filters as a safeguard against dust and liquids. Its purpose is to prevent airborne liquids from reaching the P100 Filter. The model referenced is filter number 2093, which measures 4.3 inches in diameter by 5/8 inch in total thickness. This design may also fit other filters of similar size. It's recommended to use the full rim design for Covid-19 applications, as it provides enhanced coverage and reduces the likelihood of direct contamination of the filter. A full lip is designed for maximum coverage, while a 3-tab design allows for enhanced airflow. This design can be used to extend the lifespan of the filter by decontaminating it between patients.
