Read the print notes please! Now with correct M12x1mm thread instead of M12x1.75mm. I noticed that Prusa has an additional item on their website called a P.I.N.D.A. protector, a snag protector for an inductive proximity sensor designed to prevent warping or peaking parts from hitting the probe. Since the Prusa MK2 uses a smaller diameter probe, this doesn't fit with the widely used 12mm version LJ12A3-4-Z/BX or BY. So I created one using Autodesk's Fusion 360, just like many of my other designs. I hope you'll enjoy it as well! This sensor only detects metal print surfaces. When using a build mat such as Buildtak or Lokbuild, you might want to upgrade to the LJ18A3-8-Z/BX dat can detect up-to 8mm away, which is much less when using aluminum beds. This way your 12mm version will not hit your prints and upset the positioning of the head/nozzle when a piece of the print sticks out slightly. Because the bottom of the sensor will be at the same height as the tip of the nozzle. You'll appreciate this later. Subscribe to my channel: see this thing getting printed here, with some behind-the-scenes Fusion 360 footage. Printer: Prusa Z3D Rework (Awesome Custom) Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20-30 Notes: If your print shrinks after cooling down like ABS does, the P.I.N.D.A. protector might not screw on properly or at all. Do not force it on. Just print a new one at 1-2% larger scale. I used 102% scale with ABS and it was tight. It should fit snugly. If too loose, it will unwind itself by vibrations and mess up your bed leveling.
