P-clip for 18b20 or other TO92 devices
thingiverse
Simple P-clip permits screwing a TO92 cased device to a support. Initially conceived because I needed to mount an 18b20 temperature sensor outside but didn't have easy mounting means on a wall.\nDevice sits in the 'D' shaped hole which opens into a circular form allowing space for connections to be made through the cable. It's expected that the device is glued into the holder to seal it and that the cable and joint area of the circular tube section are also filled with e.g. epoxy to seal everything completely. The open end of the tube has a small anulus acting as a strain relief when using epoxy in this manner.\nScrew hole for 3mm screw.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter:\n Kossel XL\n \n Rafts: No\n Yes\n \n Resolution: 0.2mm layers\n Supports\n \n Infill: 25%\n Notes:\n print with the tube vertical, circular section to the top. Support is virtually unnecessary since it's only for the 3mm screw hole.\nTested in PLA\nSizes in the .stl are such that interior holes should be a close but not tight fit for the TO92 case. If they're too large, reduce the entire print by a couple of percent or change the original drawn in OnShape (search for "18B20 holders")
