This is approximately 1:385 scale model of Imperial German P-Class zeppelin used in World War I, with most details replicating LZ 87 German Imperial Army service specifications. The primary reference source used for dimensions and shapes was "Zeppelin p-class: Description of design features and differences between ships" by Thorsten Brand. At this scale, it measures 16.7 inches in length. \n \nInstructions Print all five modules at desired layer thickness (between 0.1 to 0.3 mm for best results). Use featured picture on page as assembly guide. Modules 1-3 fit easily inside each other from front-to-back, but builder must carefully align them during assembly. Fore-to-aft longeron details on Module 2 are crucial to proper clocking. Cars on Modules 1 and 3 serve as model base and define center plane for accurate placement. Module 4 is adaptor with flat sheer end and beveled end; flat end slots into notch at rear of Module 3. Module 5 sits on top of Module 4, clocked to Module 3. .png file included features template series for making struts from layered paper, entirely optional and left up to individual builder's creativity.
