P-Brain Gear Gear

thingiverse

This project involves printing P-Brain Gear brain gears, brain gear links, a base, and assembling them using epoxy for a mesmerizing spinning display. The design is created using an existing Brain Gear and a modified gear, printed at 200 micron resolution with 20% infill. It requires a MakerBot Replicator 2 printer, doesn't need rafts or supports, and uses 45-degree angles for printing without support. The gears are designed to be printed in various colors for visual effect. For a hands-on learning experience of basic printing techniques, this project lasts three days and requires a 3D printer, epoxy, and creative kids.
