P-Bone Slide Prosthetic Hand Adapter

This is a attachment to a 3D Printed hand so that it can play the trombone. This is meant to be used on the slide, where there is another attachment that is to be used for holding the trombone in place. I designed this as a student at Seattle Pacific University for a class on 3D printing. This part is meant to be mounted directly into the hand attachment which is called e-Nable. This will work for both a left or right hand. One thing that will help when printing this is to print it in the "side view" so that the stress concentrations will not force it to break when you attach it to the slide. Printing it with the base on the bottom will also work, but may cause a fracture. If you would like to use a more pliable material or a lower fill density, that may also help. Custom Section
