From our extensive P-51 Mustang project.\n\nDeveloped over a 2-year period, this carefully selected collection of sub-assembly 3D Cad models is showcased.\nFormats: DWG, STL, STP and Parasolid X-B (Solidworks, Solidedge format) are all supported. Every file can be easily transferred to any 3d cad system.\nAlso included are comprehensive Parts Lists for each assembly with accurate dimensional positioning information to ensure precise location of components.\n\nThe P-51 Mustang Project:\nOur main goal is a thorough examination of the methods applicable to the design and construction of historical aircraft. The P-51 Mustang has been one of our key subjects in researching criteria of conic design principles. As an inherent part of this research, we have created a number of mechanical assemblies in CAD to establish positional relationships and investigate construction methods.\n\nThe 3D CAD models are expertly developed; many of which are being made publicly available for the very first time. The Parts list drawings provide vital dimensional information to accurately situate components.
