The Mustang model, initially created for Discovery Channel's "Showdown Air Combat," features intricate details such as cockpit, engine, cowlings, mounts, and radio gear. Numerous elements in the cockpit are modeled including controls, instrument panels, and various switches. Animation is included for parts like ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevators, landing gears, doors, and the canopy. The later version upgraded textures on wings and enhanced cockpit detailing with components such as engine, oil reservoir, mounts, intake duct, fuel lines, and spark plugs. Removable cowling panels reveal the engine, similar to real Mustangs. Additional features include landing gear, wing fuel tank, rear fuselage fuel tank, fuselage fuel tank, electrical equipment, and radios.
