Model on left in photo was made by my dad while he was in the Philippines during WWII. Many service men made "trench art" during their free time. It is made entirely of bullets and shell casings. I needed some practice with Fusion360 so made a model of a model. You will need some basic model tools as in the photo and a bit of skill to put it together but is a rather straight forward assembly. This is the second model of this type I have posted, please look up B-17 for the other. I put holes in several places to use a piece of 1.75 filament for alignment and assembly. I did needed to clean the holes out using a #50/.07" drill, a 5/64 drill would more than likely work also. The OS and center fuselages are made in two pieces so they can be printed on the flat part on end I used a brim for printing because the are a bit small. The rear OS fuselage is split down the middle and lays flat on the printer table with supports turned on but I used support blockers on all the holes. My fist attempt at printing the OS rear fuselage on end failed because it is to small on the end and made it very fragile, works much better this way. I did not use supports on any of the other parts. You will need to print the files as follows: 1ea. base 1ea. main wing 1ea. tail wing 2ea. rudders 1ea. center fuselage nose 1ea. center fuselage rear 2ea. outside---OS fuselage nose 4ea. OS rear fuselage Please let me know in the comments if you have any trouble. I have made this model two times so it does work--- I think. Good luck
