This design is suitable for use with Ozito X power X change Battery 18V Li-on battery pack. Usually used for drills and assorted tools in the Ozito portable tool line. Mainly sold in Australia, at Bunnings Hardware stores. The electronics for the soldering station can be purchased via Aliexpress, at the time of upload price at $15 per kit including soldering tip. Battery Contacts can be purchased or made from sheet metal, just make sure it is long enough inside the enclosure to attach wiring by soldering or krimping. If you are making the contacts, please ensure the contacts are rigid by folding the along the contacts as a spine. (See photos for more detail) The Ozito battery is charged to 20V and operate at 18V and will cut off at 15V, please be advised it is not safe to operate the soldering at voltages below 15V. The original design had a port for DC power, however this has been removed to keep simplicity in wiring.
