Oxygenics Shower Wand Holder

After redesigning a shim to make our Oxygenics Shower Wand fit snugly into the Shower Bar in our Motor Home, my wife was determined to find a solution to the problem of the shower wand holder flopping down unless really cranked on to get the adjusting knob tight. So, back to the drawing board we went. This time, instead of relying on a shim to prevent the shower wand from swinging wildly in the oversized taper, I reimagined the entire holder. The taper now perfectly fits the oxygenics, and the indexing cutout was downsized so the holder has a limited range, which prevents it from flopping down even if the adjusting knob becomes slightly loose. Our rig uses a shower bar made by Ultra Faucets, but we kept the original hose and substituted an Oxygenics RV shower head for the one that came with the coach. Even with the original hose, the fit was terrible and loose. Many people complain about the hose that comes with the Oxygenics Showerhead, and we agree; we opted to keep the existing hose. This new part fits seamlessly on 2016 Newmar Ventanas produced before February 22, 2016. Newmar switched to a different shower bar after that date.
