Oxygen Wrench
thingiverse
I was asked to print an oxygen wrench and after searching, I found one online (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:897996/) but it didn't meet my requirements. Although I admire its sleek design, I have concerns about its durability over time. To assess its feasibility, I created a series of test objects for measurement purposes and added a simple handle. My next version will be more refined. Update 8-2-15: With excess time on my hands yesterday, I made significant changes to the design, going through three more iterations in search of perfection. As usual, simplicity won out over complexity. Version four is an improved version of the original with a horizontal and vertical slot incorporated into its design. To achieve a loose fit, I had to increase X and Y by 2.5 percent. At 100% scale, it fit snugly on most bottles but I only have seven available for testing at this time. I recommend printing O2 Wrench Test 2 first to check the fit, then scaling it up as needed before proceeding with the full-size wrench.
