Instructions to customize the design on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:116807 were created using the Customizer app, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=116807. Options available for customization: - Build Plate Type can be selected from a variety of options. - A clearance of .1 units is used as the default setting. - Element 'O' was chosen. - Manual Build Plate Width is set to 100 units by default. - Center Radius has been set to 12 units. - Pin Cap Gap remains at 0 units for simplicity. - No hole will be created with a radius of 0 units around each pin by design. - The desired Ring Spacing can range from .5 units up to ring height plus clearance divided by two. - Resolution level was determined by choosing Mesh Resolution of 70%. - Width has been adjusted on all rings so they're at their widest, with no overlap when fully open and pinned at a minimum. - Length can also be adjusted with Build Plate Manual Length ranging from ring height times ring height step plus clearance up to .5 plus manual build plate width squared minus (build plate width divided by 4). - No pin will be used in this design, so Pin Radius was chosen to remain at its default setting of zero. - This same choice means no cap can fit, leaving pin cap width set to zero. - Finally, when making multiple ring stacks to ensure they have uniform heights, Step Amount or Height Increment needs only adjust from .5 down to .05
