OXO On Conical Burr Coffee Grinder Shield

Nothing terribly complicated here. I picked up this coffee grinder a while back and because the container sits a little ways below where the grounds are released, there's potential for loose grounds to miss the container. After a few grindings, it's pretty apparent that your counter top and grinder will likely need cleaning. I built this small funnel-like shield to help with this issue. A small lip keeps it in place right at the top of the container. It is wide enough to catch most, if not all, grounds that may try to escape while also shallow enough that it won't get stuck on the bottom of the grinder when you remove the container - no need to hold it during removal or placement. Supports shouldn't be necessary, though you might get a smoother print inside with them and some minor post-cleanup.
