Owlbear through the ages- Basic D&D
thingiverse
This is a recreation of the first owlbear printed the Basic D&D Greyhawk supplement. This design is such an anomaly among D&D Owlbears going close to the popular image of the owlbear that doesn't show up in a D&D publication again until 5th ed. I had to throw out everything I know about proper modeling technique to recreate the zero art budget aesthetic of this design and it really soured me on this design. <s>Originally I thought this was charmingly terrible but after modeling it now I just think it is an ugly pain in the ass. Though in a few months after I forget how irritating this model was to make my opinion of it will return to charmingly terrible.</s> This design is so stupid, I love it.
