Owl with egg

I got my mom on the case with a fantastic idea to create something you can print but not just make with clay or some other material. She had envisioned an owl with a transparent body so you could see the egg inside. I scoured the Thingiverse for a good-looking owl and stumbled upon MustangDave's Owl Statue, which boasted a big body where I could work my magic and add a see-through design. I took his owl and simplified it with Zbrush to give it a low-poly style that I love. To make the vonoroi look even more striking, I added some detail work with Meshmixer, combining it seamlessly with 123D Design to cut out a hole in the owl's abdomen and merge the two designs together perfectly.
