Owl - Sun Catcher

I wanted to test whether printing a sun catcher without intricate mechanisms is feasible. So here's one of my attempts - Owl from Winnie the Pooh. The frame functions like the leading in a stained glass window, requiring transparent filament with a switch to black at the layer where the lead lines would be. Once complete, the colored pieces are then glued into the corresponding "gaps" in the frame. I utilized PVA glue and allowed it to set over several days. I used PLA for the filament, but sometimes had to use PET as I couldn't locate a translucent/transparent PLA of the right color. This approach worked most of the time, but occasionally I had to sand the PET pieces down slightly to ensure a proper fit.
