Owl - Sun Catcher

UPDATE 21st JAN 2020: Sorry folks, I forgot the frame for the owl. It's there now. I decided to test if it's possible to print a sun catcher without intricate mechanisms. My attempt features Owl from Winnie the Pooh. The frame functions similarly to leading in stained glass windows. To achieve this look, the frame needs to be printed with transparent filament and changed to black at the layer where lead lines would typically be located. Once complete, colored pieces are glued into relevant "gaps" within the frame. I utilized PVA glue, allowing it to set over several days. For the project, I used PLA for the filament, but sometimes I had to use PET due to unavailability of translucent/transparent PLA in desired colors. This approach worked mostly well, although occasionally I had to sand down PET pieces slightly to ensure a proper fit.
