Mercy from Overwatch in her Devil skin is shown off in a hilarious laughing emote pose. The pose was painstakingly created by hand, with the model expertly exported from the game, subdivided and refined in Blender. For added precision, the design was split into parts in Rhino3d. Her torso rests on her legs, but be aware that gluing them together will result in a more sturdy build. You can leave it as is, but be aware of the potential consequences. Two sets of legs and bases are available for your printing preference, both clearly marked as either pegged or unpegged. Make sure to print the correct base for the legs you choose to print. The wings are perhaps the most challenging part of this design. When printed at 300% scale, they came out remarkably thin, measuring only .4mm in width. To prevent them from breaking off with the supports, be sure to orient them so that the wings are facing upwards. Once the wings have been glued securely to her back, you may need to trim them to achieve a smooth surface for bonding with super glue. A small drilled hole in her head can also help facilitate this process. The head itself requires careful gluing and neck trimming - about 2mm is recommended to ensure a secure bond. If you're having trouble getting a good split on the models, consider drilling a small hole to accept a nail for added stability. If you notice any missing spots or layers in Cura, try opening the file in Windows 3d Builder and using the repair tool when prompted. Save and reload the model to see if this resolves the issue. If not, try printing at a lower resolution with 125% flow. When removing supports, be extremely cautious and use super glue to bond the layers together.
