Overwatch D.Va Headset
thingiverse
Headset Model 3D Printing Based on D.Va's Overwatch Headgear The final result is intended as a non-functional yet wearable cosplay prop. Breaking down the model into eight parts yields: dva_headset_ear_aerial.stl, dva_headset_ear_bottom.stl, dva_headset_ear_green.stl, dva_headset_ear_middle.stl, dva_headset_ear_top.stl, dva_headset_headband_middle.stl, dva_headset_headband_pin.stl, and dva_headset_headband_side.stl. Printing all parts except headband_middle will require printing them twice in each direction - once default, once mirrored for left and right sides. Headband middle is designed to be scaled across its long axis, allowing users to adjust width without reprinting other parts; it's been scaled up 3.5cm for a snug fit on an adult-sized head. Dva_headset_headband_pins are intended to go through the middle section joining sides to add strength and should be scaled 1.5cm longer than the middle section, potentially shrinking slightly in other dimensions to fit into holes; they were printed at 97%. Printing dva_headset_ear_bottom.stl in flexible material could enhance comfort during wear. Dva_headset_ear_green.stl is optional, simulating the green LED on ear pieces and can be painted or printed in green or transparent for effect.
