Overwatch Backlit Logo

Overwatch logo illuminated by WS2812B Addressable LEDs, designed for hanging with a screw from the wall. Built to be printed on a 300x300 bed CR10 printer, scaling it up for S5 or larger printers may cause parts to snap together loosely, try at your own risk! Parts connect without screws or glue, offering a snug fit due to the .3mm gap. The actual logo includes a chamfer, so I've included both flat and chamfered versions. For the upper arch, three LEDs are soldered together in a sight line that contours with the logo. Two mirror sets, glued back to back, provide a brighter shine when glued upside down. Regular 5050 RGB strips can be used if you prefer not to learn coding for WS2812B LEDs. These allow animations like the one in the video, adding a cool factor. I purchased the controller and LEDs from Amazon, requiring exactly 60 LEDs. Check the Print section for settings used to print. You'll need: ~300g of Black for the Main face of the logo ~300g of Clear/translucent white for the rest WS2812B 60LEDs (1Meter): WS2812B LED Strip 1M 60 Pixels/M WS2812B 300LED (5Meters) **recommended if you accidentally burn a pixel...I might have done that... WS2812B RGB Controller: 5V 4A power supply (Logo will consume 3.6A MAX but better safe than sorry): **These are affiliate links. Of course, the usual DIY tools like soldering iron(recommend the SainSmart Pro32), solder, wire, and wire stripper, etc. When you print and make this, I'd love to see pictures of it! Upload them here or tag me on instagram @michaeltranster Tipping is a thing too ;).
