OverLord Belt & Motor Protector - Snap-On Design
thingiverse
The side pillar, bracket, and entire heating plate area appears chaotic on my OverLord Pro. Hair spray residue, glue remnants, small components, threads, and all sorts of debris that accumulate during printing tend to fall down here. I'm surprised no plastic obstructions the motor pulley! This protector clicks neatly onto three stands. It's designed to ensure motor waste heat isn't blocked. Simply snap it into place. If you print with diameters of 172mm on our printer, these rods won't collide with surrounding parts either. The part requires a relatively small diameter of only 1.5-2.0mm. You can check the test results in the pictures! I printed mine using Taulman T-Glase in 1h15' by following the instructions below. Any other material should work fine. **Instructions** Printed with a layer height of 0.3mm in PLA, or Print with 0.45mm layer height in Taulman T-Glase as shown on the pictures (update Cura settings to use a 0.5mm nozzle), heat up to 220°C at 107% flow rate, set the bed temperature to 48°C and speed to 30mm/sec without using a fan - all of this should result in 1h15' print time per piece.
