Overhung Blower for Haydn Huntley Magnetic Effector w/ modified Effector

In a bid to maximize build volume of my Kossel Mini, I designed this overhung blower filament cooling system to work with Haydn Huntley's Magnetic Effector. Instead of hanging from the side of the effector head, it sits in the unused space above the effector, allowing the hot end to get closer to the towers than if there had been a blower fan mounted outside of the effector head. The Overhung Blower Adapter uses the empty space used to insert the hot end into the effector as a pass-through for the blower. It is designed to bolt up to the accessory mount on the effector and utilizes a standard 50mmx15mm blower fan. The compatible effector can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1546124 I've also uploaded an updated effector based on the aforementioned unit with an additional wiring harness pass-through to allow the hot end wiring to exit up through the effector. The cooling tube is the correct length for the E3D V6 hot end. It will not work with clones at its current length. I am in the process of designing one to fit generic J heads. This part is a work in progress, but in my tests so far it works extremely well. Since installing it, I've had no filament cooling issues. I will likely be redesigning the blower attachment straps to provide better stability and redesigning the flanged tube mount and solid mount as a single piece. 2/15/2017 UPDATE: I've now printed roughly 10 pounds of plastics through this setup with great success. While I will continue to update this page as I make further revisions, I would deem this setup no longer experimental and fully functional and usable. Printer Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: .1mm Infill: 100% Notes: The blower tube part should be printed upside down relative to its final mounted orientation for best results. Due to its small size, I found a raft on clean glass yields best results. Post-Printing To complete this kit you will need: 4x M3x30 Screws 4x M3 Nylock nuts 1 50x15mm blower 1x Solid Mount (Printed Part) 1x Blower Adapter (Printed Part) 2x Tube Retainers (Printed Parts) The blower adapter will insert snugly into the end of the blower, then I used some Kapton tape to seal the blower to the adapter flange. Next, use the two tube retainer mounting straps to attach the blower to the flanged tube. The solid mount then attaches to the 45-degree M3 angled mount on the flanged tube. Insert the tube into the hole in the effector head, then attach the solid mount to the accessory mount.
