Overhead Bracket for Security Token
thingiverse
This bracket holds the Digipass 831 security token from Postfinance in its designated position at all times. Every time I needed to do some online banking, I had to search for my Digipass device from Postfinance. So, I decided to assign a specific spot where I keep the Digipass, and since my desk is already cluttered with various items, I designed this bracket to store the Digipass underneath the desk surface. You can view a video of the bracket in action at https://youtu.be/59sWRMnXL_k. This Bracket is specifically designed for a Digipass measuring 62mm wide, 12mm high, and approximately 90mm long. If you need a different size, I can generate a *.stl file for you. This bracket is a general-purpose holder that can also be mounted on a wall, either by placing the device in from above or from the side. When mounted upright on the wall, you can use your Digipass without removing it from the bracket. If you're not familiar with what a Digipass is, please visit https://www.vasco.com/products/two-factor-authenticators/hardware/card-readers/digipass-unconnected-readers.html for more information. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: (100%) see notes Notes: The wall thickness of the *.stl file is 1.2mm, which means that if you use an extrusion width of 0.3mm and at least two perimeters, you'll end up with a 100% infilled part without any additional infill. This is because there's no gap between the perimeters. Post-Printing: Options for mounting the bracket include using double-faced adhesive tape to stick it to a surface or hot glue, depending on the surface's behavior.
