Overhangtest
thingiverse
This is a Re-Engineered Version of the Make Overhang Performance Test. I disliked that the steps between angles were too large, as no 3D Printer should struggle at 30 degrees and most printers do not print well at 70 degrees if perimeters are not specifically optimized for overhang. Normally, the turning point is somewhere between 50 to 70 degrees, so I made 5-degree steps in between. This should allow you to analyze exactly what your printer is capable of. Print Settings: Printer: Fullmetal P3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30% Notes: As it's easier to scale things down, I made it a bit bigger. For normal testing, you can scale it to 60%. Printing in full size will eliminate some side effects and give you much more significant results.
