Overhang and recovery challenge

Overhang and recovery challenge

thingiverse

This print is intentionally designed to be impossible without supports, demonstrating a printer's recovery capability. It places emphasis on the printer's ability to lay down enough misplaced filament to recover at a higher level. This can be beneficial if you, like me, often use Meshmixer for support structures and occasionally encounter failures. Furthermore, it may create intriguing art through droopy circles if it fails. For additional challenge, there is a second version with an extra double arch on top featuring a 4.5 cm radius. This serves as another test to evaluate your printer's performance. To print, simply import the design into your preferred printing software.
