The hydraulic motor offers precise control via regulating inflow and outflow through ports C1 and C2, enabling static and dynamic motion. It consists of two sections, each featuring a check valve and a relief valve assisted by pressure from the opposite line. This system prevents reverse movement when pilot pressure is applied to the opposing line; it reduces relief valve settings proportionally to the ratio until controlled reversal occurs. When the motor is running without pilot pressure, the relief builds up back-pressure at the motor port to stop motion. Back-pressure at V1 or V2 is additive in all functions. Lastly, a shuttle valve via port C3 directs V1 or V2 line pressure to the spring-actuated brake for release. This applies to Eaton H and T series hydraulic motors.
