Over customizable closed square bracket
thingiverse
I wanted to install my soundbar (Philips HTL3140B) under my old Samsung TV. Since I have my TV mounted on a wall, I decided to use foot screws for this purpose, which require 125mm of width. To make the solution more versatile, I scrapped the idea of making it a fixed-width project. Therefore, I began designing in FreeCAD a closed square bracket (for enhanced stability) for each foot-screw (6mm).\r\n\r\nAs a result, I designed a FreeCAD closed square bracket with the following customizable parameters:\r\n\r\n* inner width/height\r\n* wall thickness\r\n* screw hole diameter\r\n* screw hole indent\r\n* lip height (for proper mount positioning)\r\n* lip indent (a straight angle mount can be achieved using 0mm indent. see photos)\r\n* corner radius (fillet radius)\r\n\r\nYou can modify all parameters in the Data spreadsheet in FreeCAD and export with Meshes > Export Mesh
