Oval Gem Mask
thingiverse
A year has passed and I'm excited to share another stunning masquerade mask with you! This oval gem mask can be printed in several unique ways, offering endless possibilities. If you're looking for more designs, be sure to check out my previous creations: Moon and Stars, Sun Rays, Leaves, and Dashed Line. The flexible base design has undergone a few tweaks, resulting in the final version shown here with a blue mask. Let's explore three exciting printing methods: 1) Using the Full Gem Mask file, you can start by printing the first layer, then pause the print and secure a piece of tulle in place. Resume the print to create a breathtaking floating mask using tulle. 2) With a multimedia extruder, you can combine Base + Single Color or Base + Color 1 + Color 2 + Color 3 to create a flexible mask. Simply print the Base with flexible filament and switch to regular PLA filaments afterwards. 3) Utilizing the Full Flex Mask file allows you to craft a flexible base mask on any printer. Print the first layer in flex filament, then switch to a different PLA filament for a unique look. I know I'm not the most articulate when it comes to explaining printing techniques, but I've also created a step-by-step photo tutorial to guide you through the process: https://www.instructables.com/id/Floating-Mask/. If anything seems unclear, please don't hesitate to reach out – I'll do my best to clarify.
