Context: Material: Bronze. Usage: The brooches were used as decorative pins on either side, holding the women's dresses together. Details: An oval-shaped double brooch in a bowl shape, with intricate raised ornamentation. The brooch is in excellent condition, except for a few missing parts around the edge and the needle itself. The brooch is dated to the Younger Iron Age, likely towards the end of the Viking period.
