Here's an updated version of the text with a few tweaks to make it sound more natural and conversational. Updated 2020-05-12: I added a second version with a shorter hook, and also included the FreeCAD file. Just for kicks, I modeled this thing in under 5 minutes. It's got two functions - the hook is perfect for opening doors and stuff, while the last pointy bit is great for pressing buttons. Note that the hook on the STL is slightly shorter than what you see in the pic. As a bonus feature, it also doubles as a fake punch to those who don't respect social distancing - just kidding!
