An outside weather-proof IP camera based on the PI Zero W and affordable Infra-red camera with LED illumination. //-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- // 22/8/17 Front case added with wall mounting bracket and swivel mount. Print in ABS plastic. Use the windows as templates to cut around some thin clear plastic sheet. Apply silicone into the front case from behind. Apply silicone around the camera lens and place into case making sure the lens is focused and pi zero cable is attached. If printed in ABS, a ball can be attached to the front case using acetone. The shield can be attached again using acetone. The pi zero can be held in place with a hot glue gun or some other method. The front case has been designed to take a 4-pole M12 connector, which are available from a large number of suppliers and are usually IP65 rated and above. As the PI Zero W has wifi only, +/- 5vdc power is required to pass through the plug and socket. //-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- // 16/9/17 Rev 2 case and ball joint added. The ball joint allows another 11 degrees tilt to be added to the swivel joint. Rev 2 case has the side slot removed and simple hole for M12 cable gland. //-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- // For software, I use the Super motioneyeos distribution created by Calin Crisan which proves to be easy to set up and very stable. https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/wiki/Installation https://www.facebook.com/pg/motioneyeos The swivel joint is a remix of mistertech's Ball and Socket Locking Swivel components. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1785190 https://youtu.be/bk5GIO7d5E4
