Outpost Kodelia Generic Nintendo Coin Mech (for push button style coin reject doors)

thingiverse

This is a standard coin mechanism specifically designed for Nintendo-style coin doors that use push-button style coin reject mechanisms. The design accommodates any coin size that fits through the slot of the coin door, feeding it accurately to the coin switches once attached. This allows proper credit to be given to the game. Retail Nintendo coin mechs are difficult to find and expensive, making this free alternative an attractive option. It is already in use at a local barcade and functioning well. The design requires printing as shown in the yellow image, with supports included. Although removing the supports can be challenging, they are essential for a clean print. Once the mechanism and doors are printed, simply flex the doors to secure them in place for installation. The doors make it easy to remove any coin jams that may occur. Given the large and unobstructed path through the mech, coin jams should be extremely rare. In the near future, a variant of this design will be posted specifically for lever-action style coin doors.
