Outlet/receptacle spacer
thingiverse
Small spacer designed to bring an outlet/receptacle forward slightly for use when the outlet/receptacle sits too far back in the electrical box. This spacer was designed for use with outlets/receptacles and switches used in most single-gang US boxes. This spacer is 3 mm thick, but you can adjust the thickness in your slicer to suit your purpose. For safest use, print with a self-extinguishing filament in the event of a fire. Also, check your local electrical code to make sure that receptacle spacers are allowed, and if so, how thick they can be. LEGAL DISCLAIMER: THIS STL IS BEING PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, AND I DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL FIT YOUR SPECIFIC APPLICATION. USE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCED WITH (AND COMFORTABLE WORKING ON) ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS, DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY OF THESE TYPES OF REPAIRS YOURSELF, AND HIRE A PROFESSIONAL.
