This in-use outlet cover which mounts on top of a Decora faceplate. Just remove the existing faceplate screws and replace them with a pair of 6-32 x 1.5" oval head ones. As it rests on the existing faceplate, the back doesn't actually contact the wall and won't leave a mark. The cover snaps into place, and can be removed by prying with your fingers gently. This can deter smaller hands who don't yet have sufficient dexterity. Warning: Supervise your children at all times, and don't let a child play with this. The raceway cutout is 23mm in diameter, which leaves a comfortable margin around this one which is shown in the picture: D-Line Cable Raceway 0.78" x 0.39" (link to it on Amazon). As you can see in the picture, it just fits a Google Mini wall plug along with a normal plug. (Yes, that's a Drömhem with its distinctive orange cord. Ask me about my DIY sleep/wake light using Hue and HomeKit.)If anyone would like a version with a non-removable cover, please message me (it's an easy modification).
