Outlet for HMF 180 degrees for 16mm hose
thingiverse
I am utilizing two high-mounted fountains in my 700-liter aquarium, accompanied by pumps that circulate 1000 liters per hour. Initially, the hose was directing water straight out of the mat, resulting in stagnant areas on the surface. By installing a 180-degree outlet, I've managed to distribute the flow evenly across the entire depth of the tank. This setup keeps my duckweed confined to the middle region of the aquarium, thanks to the strategically positioned filters located on either side. The outlet provides a secure fit for 16mm outer diameter hoses (the hole measures 15.5mm in diameter). When it comes to constructing an aquarium-related component, I recommend utilizing transparent PETG material whenever possible, as it requires no support. Two versions of this design exist: one featuring 3mm slots and another with 5mm hexagonal openings, leaving me undecided about which configuration is superior.
