Outlet for Delonghi N81 monoblock aircondition
thingiverse
During a recent heat wave, I had to install a De'Longhi monoblock A/C in my child's room. With no way to drill a large hole into the wall for exhaust airflow, I created a small outlet holder that lets you attach the De'Longhi hot air outlet to a board which can be placed inside a shutter or directly within the window opening. This allows the hot air to escape without requiring an open window. By sliding two brackets, the De'Longhi outlet can be easily removed. From the outside, two flaps seal the hole when the A/C is not in use, preventing rain from entering the room. Additionally, a fly screen can be added to prevent flies from entering through the opening. I'm including the OpenSCAD files, as I'm unsure if these outlets are always the same size. You can modify or experiment with them as needed to accommodate your specific outlet requirements. For this project, I used PETG due to its heat resistance; since De'Longhi's hot air can reach up to 50 degrees C, PLA might become soft under such conditions.
