I tried a different gang box installation and it cracked under pressure. I re-designed this project with added strength and larger screw holes to prevent cracking during assembly. 2.2 mm thick walls provide stability, while the 2.25in depth allows for easy punching of holes. When punching out holes, be careful not to hit them before scoring or drilling a pilot hole for easy knockout. Update 1/20/2020: A single gang box option has been added. Update 2/3/2020: I've learned a lot about PLA since creating this project. I recommend printing it with PLA + or PLA Pro for improved stress resistance and reduced cracking. These materials can withstand hammer hits and drilled holes without cracking. For faster prints, use a larger nozzle to complete the job in under two hours. PETG is another viable option, possibly the best choice. However, it does require an additional learning curve. If you're printing functional items, the extra effort is worth it.
