OUTER ORBIT: Fix for Target Spatula Holder
prusaprinters
<p>This model is more about the utility of owning a 3D printer than the model itself. The bottom plastic part on our Target kitchen spatula holder broke after it fell from the counter due to cat related activity. <img></p><figure class="image image_resized image-style-align-center" style="width:41.59%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/310704/rich_content/f235e8d8-d85b-4db5-9aba-c3142ff8b691/img_2463.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22b62135d1-06e2-426b-8ac6-770573fe60ef%22%2C%22w%22%3A982%2C%22h%22%3A1309%7D"></figure><p>This meant this screw which normally held the plastic foot in place protruded and prevented the holder from sitting flat on the counter. So instead of having to buy a whole new holder I designed and printed this doughnut shaped part to allow the holder to sit flat on the counter. </p><p> </p><figure class="image image_resized image-style-align-center" style="width:46.72%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/310704/rich_content/8e2027f9-ba9a-4a12-a51b-e6e2e11a3d28/img_2465.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22e2e5aa2d-67ab-4921-b888-e5107b664f29%22%2C%22w%22%3A982%2C%22h%22%3A1309%7D"></figure><p>The part is attached with just a bit of superglue and has been working great. I highly doubt that anyone will simultaneously</p><ol><li>Break their target spatula holder </li><li>Own and be capable of operating a 3D printer</li><li>Find this page </li></ol><p>And therefore the utility of this model for the public is likely very low. But I wanted to post it anyway because it is one of those (admittedly somewhat rare) situations where the utility of owning a 3D printer combined with some basic CAD modeling really shines. </p>
