Outer Ear/Pinna Business Card
thingiverse
Detailed anatomical model of the outer ear printed flat at a compact size, roughly equivalent to that of a credit card. The individual components are carefully separated to facilitate the assembly of a simplified, nearly life-size representation of the pinna, or auricle, which forms the outer rim of the human ear. A sturdy base serves as a display platform for the model, featuring an accommodating slot designed specifically for housing a compact instructional manual that is also provided. This detailed model effectively enables students to engage in hands-on kinesthetic learning activities while studying the intricate anatomy of the pinna, and it has been utilized with great success in my gross anatomy of speech and hearing systems course.
