Mental Ray *.max offers a version with textures and shaders, while Scanline *.max provides the same with additional textures and shaders. V-Ray *.max is compatible with versions 1.5 or higher and includes textures and shaders. Advanced Render *.c4d caters to Cinema 4D R11.5 or higher, including textures and shaders. VRAYforC4D offers a version prepared for V-Ray 1.1 with Cinema 4D R11.5 and textures and shaders. The *.max format supports versions from 2008 onwards, while Cinema 4D requires R11.5 or higher for use.
