Outdoor Shade Ball Lock

We bought some window shades from Home Depot, but they only came with single-ball locks. My wife and I reached out to the manufacturer about getting dual-ball locks to go between them, but they didn't carry that type. So, we figured, why not? We've got a 3D printer and Fusion 360 design software, so we could just make our own custom locks instead of waiting for someone else to do it.
