I was searching for an efficient method to hang rope lights around my patio handrail that would be easy to install and remove, as well as durable enough to withstand the extreme temperatures in Saskatchewan, Canada, where winter temperatures often drop below -40°C and summer temperatures frequently rise above 40°C. I resolved this issue by printing these holders in white ABS plastic, which can handle the challenging climate conditions. Two years have passed since their installation, and they continue to function flawlessly and look great. To keep the rope lights taut, I spaced them approximately 2.5 feet apart. To accommodate various sizes of handrails, I've included multiple profiles for you to choose from. Before printing, it's recommended that you measure your handrail and select the most suitable profile. A small amount of scaling is acceptable, but it may compromise the rope light opening. I recommend using ABS plastic with an infill of 20-30% for optimal results.
