Outdoor Power Stake wood mounting adapter screw
thingiverse
With this 3D printed part you can attach a power stake to a wood surface. This is just a small part I made to solve a simple problem I had. Maybe it is useful to you. I wanted to mount an SP007 power stake to a wood surface using the threaded portion of the power stake. Normally a plastic stake screws into the bottom and it goes into the ground to use as a temporary power strip. The printed part uses a #8 pan head wood screw to attach it to your wood surface. There is an offset hole to hammer in a small nail to prevent the part from spinning when installing or removing the power stake. Although the design includes the small nail hole, I had to drill it out a bit since my printer filled in the hole. If I had to do it again I would omit the nail hole and just include a divot on top to align the drill bit to drill the hole. The power stake model is SP007 and is sold under various generic brand names. The thread on the power stake is non standard. So I created a 17mm diameter x 1.75mm pitch thread for the part using the Nut_Job.scad file by Mike Thompson 1/12/2013, Thingiverse: mike_linus.
