Outdoor DHT housing
prusaprinters

Housing for using a DHTXX sensor outside, keeping it shaded from the sun and weather.

The housing has stacked "roofs" to allow for air to flow through but keeps water and sunlight out. It is a two part design for easy install and modification.

The base plate has a mounting hole for DHT22 and for boards like the BME688.

The mounting hole are spec'd for #2 flat head screws or around 2.5mm flat head screws. Main thing is the head size so it does not interfere with the cover. The sensor can use the same size screws.

A UV resistant filament should be used ideally for any long term use.
