Outdoor Cable Clip/Clamp/Tie
prusaprinters

The coaxial Internet cable that runs from a utility pole to our house failed when the connector came apart from the weight of the cable. I made this clip to fasten the cable to the utility pole, and take the strain off of the connector. It was made for a cable 9.9mm in diameter, but could be scaled for other similar sizes.

As shown in the photo, I made it so that it can be used with a small washer (recommended) under the mounting screw.

Print Instructions

Print in TPU using the 3mf file provided; in general :

0.3mm layer height

4 perimeters

0% infill

Note that this is designed to be printed in TPU (Flex), due to the flexibility and weather resistance of that filament type.

CAD

The OnShape 3D CAD files for this are here :

https://cad.onshape.com/documents/62b1a6e09b9777f2b8228679/w/f52810033f887ccf51e53a25/e/2848d3f401007572ebd892ab
